G.V.Ramarao joined the Indian Navy as an officer. After retirement he joined the Mercantile Marine. As a ship Captian he sailed all over the world.He published about 25 short stories and several articles on disparate subjects in newspapers and periodicals. He always found humour
in his long life at sea.
